020 - Shared Albums

Your family members all have great holiday photos to share. Often we share them via email or messages. Instead, keep everyone’s photos organized with a Shared Album.

Open photos

Let’s use the Favorites album we created back in tip 17

Select the photos you want to share

Tap the share button

This is where you could send by Messages or Mail

Scroll down and tap Add to Shared Album

You can choose an existing shared album, or create a new one by tapping on Shared Album

Tap next and search for one or more contacts to share the album with

Tap next to return to the optional comment section, then tap Post

Your contacts will receive a notification

Anyone invited to the album can view the photos and contribute more. When more are added, all contacts that the album is shared with will receive a notification.
