In case you’re ever involved in an accident and aren’t able to respond to questions, your iPhone can store your emergency medical and contact information.
Go to Contacts
Tap on your contact card
Scroll down and tap Create Medical ID
The medical ID offers a number of fields to outline potentially necessary physical attributes and medical conditions. You can also add emergency contacts.
Importantly, make sure Show When Locked is enabled.
If someone needs to retrieve your emergency contacts, when they attempt to access your phone they can tap the Emergency label then the Medical ID label to access your Medical ID.
